I decided to buy the Xbox version, hoping there was no slowdown, but I was disappointed. I might try switching to PAL-50 instead of PAL-60, because I know that helps Halo. Still, the game is no less enjoyable.
What is really bugging me though is that EA seem to have omitted a widescreen option from the Xbox version. A real pain, as I have a widescreen TV, and the PS2 version supports it.
My Xbox hardware is set to widescreen, but that seems to make no difference - and there appears to be no option in the menus, as there is in the PS2 version.
Anyone know if it's possible? If not, I'll exchange it for the PS2 version tomorrow.
