In a few words why... Super Smash Brother Melee and Rogue Leader! OH YES!
ooooooo Smash Brothers is SSOOOO much better than I thought it was gonna be! I never played the N64 version so I wasn't too sure on it. But it's BRILLIANT!
erm....... I'm gonna have to talk about it a bit more later. My screens flashing all funny colours!!! I don't think I should have been playing REZ this morning! That game seriously MESSES with you!

I've played Pikmin. It's a pretty groovy little game. It's surpose to be pretty short in length though!
It's really popular in Japan and they're already working on Pikmin 2!

As I was trying to say earlier, I was up all last night on a night of gaming!
This is something I haven't done in quite a long time and it was quite a refreshing change.
Among the games I played were, Smash Brothers Melee and Rogue Leader!!!
These games were GREAT!
I never played Smash Brothers on the N64 and so I wasn't too sure on the game!
But now after playing it, I just WISH it was a launch title!
It really is that good!
As well as the usual beat-em-up mode that your use to if you ever played the N64 version, there is also a side scrolling bit, which plays very similar to a traditional Mario game. This bit was a WICKED bonus feature to an already brilliant game. There is loads to do in this game, like trying to collect something like 290 different trofies!!! The tracks in this game are somthing else to! Brilliant they are! All themed around various Nintendo related games. The music is also another GREAT aspect to this game. It has loads of the old classic Nintendo music and it really does make the game even more enjoyable than it already is! I just can't wait to own this game for myself! It really is THAT good!!! WAHHOOOOO! And I laugh n chuckle at all you that haven't played it yet! mwahahahahah! :D
Now for Rogue Leader! WOW! It really is an impressive game! You really do see what the Gamecube is capable of in this game. And this is only a first generation Gamecube title. It can only get better! CAN'T WAIT! One really impressive thing I saw in this game was on the first level, the Death Star trench run level. Well before you do the trench run you have to shoot a bunch of turrets etc on the surface, but I flew away from the Death Star into space, then turned round. It was really amazing flying from a distance right up to the surface! The level of detail really is quite astonishing!!!
WAHOOOOO! I've played a couple new Gamecube games! Only bad thing is that it's made me really want my Gamecube! But I think the launch in May is a good idea, cos it lets me get this semester out of the way, so that I can sit on my butt for 4 months playing it!
As I'm here typing away I might as well rant about the other games I played.
I started Silent Hill 2 on X-Box. Silent Hill on the Playstation was one of my favourite Playstation titles, and so I'd been waiting for this game to come out so that I could see what it was like. I wasn't disappointed! It really is the classic Silent Hill game over again. And it was great fun! Was a little disturbing see a bunch of monsters having an orgy in one of the cut scenes though, but other than that, it was a great gaming experiance. I'm gonna have to go back to my mates later to finish it off!
Amped. Oh yes, I was playing this again! It's such a wicked game. I sat there for hours solid on this one level trying to beat the high score you had to get on this one track to get the highest score limit. Must have take me an hour plus! It was just sooo annoying and addictive. If you've ever played Tony Hawk's and tried to get one of the high scores on that you'll know what I'm on about. When if you don't pull off a really high point scoring trick right at the start you just curse, and jam the start button to start again. I kept doing this over and over and over until I did this stunt at the start of the track which got me half the points I needed for the level. Was REALLY annoying, but I got there in the end! I'm just annoyed that I think this game was made by an in house Microsoft team, so it's not likely to come out on any other console. Let's just hope that 1080 is as good!
Dead or Alive 3. Very nice looking beat em up! And it plays pretty well too. There was a couple omissions from the launch of the Gamecube which I think let it down slightly. There isn't a beat em up, and there isn't a car driving game. This is quite annoying, but I'm sure the problem will be rectified eventually. Cos on the beat em up front, we will be getting Dead or Alive 3, Soul Calibur 2, and of course Smash Brothers. Dead or Alive 3 is a pretty impressive beat em up if you have ever seen it running or played it. It has some of the nicest arenas I have ever seen in a beat em up. And I think that however it was that made it are surpose to be doing direct ports of it to PS2 and Gamecube. So we're in luck! A word of warning though. The testers of this game must have gone brain dead when they got to the final boss, because it is just SSSSSSOOOOOO stupid. The camera changes to an annoying angle, the screen goes all blurry, and that just makes it really hard. This really lets the game down. As it's a thourghly enjoyable experiance until you get to this final boss, which just annoys the **** out of you until you finally beat him!
REZ (Dreamcast). This game is mad to say the least. But it is actually pretty good. It's also quite addictive. Oh, and it has bad effects on you if you haven't been to sleep for a long time before playing it! It plays very similar to Panzer Dragoon if any of you have ever played that (Saturn game, also on Sega PC). But whenever you press the fire button it makes a noise, and when the enemy die it also makes a noise. In effect you are creating the music which goes with the game, and it's just GREAT fun!

You trully are a jammy get Cooky. The most Gamecube action I've had is about 30 seconds on Wave Race: Blue Storm!!! :(
