If anyone wants to see an mgs1 remake for the ps2, just go to http://www.metalgearsolid1petition.cjb.net/ and sign a request, REMEMBER: State ps2 in your entry because it's originally fo the gamecube

I have yet to ever play a MGS game but i was going to get number 2, until my friend told me he had finished it when i asked if it was a good game (i asked him the monday after it came out) so i decided to wait until Substance which i am definatly getting.

I think you'll find everyone totally agrees with you. Anyone who deosn't is clearly out of their mind.
It wasn't the title everyone hoped for, get over it.

Let's just hope Substance can be the game MGS2 should have been.

Wouldn't dream of it. To be honest, nobody's going to get REALLY excited about a remake of a game that's now about, what, 4 years old? Why not put all the efforts into a brand new MGS? Surely we'd appreciate that more. Still, i suppose MGS 2 was a bit of a let down (Before i get hundreds of people hunting me down, wanting to shoot me for the last comment, can i just explain that, whilst MGS 2 was a great game, it just didn't live up to my expectations).

I wouldn't say no to a remake, but is it actually nessesary?

I think that would be wiked in MGS2 Graphics.
