Today, Juan-Seba Veron didn't feature at all in the United side, and we won 4-0! Yes, I know it was Bolton. But we lost the match at Old Trafford when he did play, and he even scored a brilliant free-kick! We have also seen United end up with a poor result in matches where Veron has featured this season. Does this mean that the player dubbed 'The Little Witch' has put one of his curses or spells on the club??
He and David Beckham never seem to play well together, does this mean that Beckham is the 'eye of newt' that completes Veron's spell, and gives United 'black patches' this season?? It could be possible!! After all, he is the 'little witch'!!
Whenever he doesn't play, we seem to win! Or at least play well and settle for a draw! And even when he's an un-used sub he seems to have a bad effect on us. Should he be removed from the United side permanently, so that United will return as reigning champions once again?? And why David Beckham?? Does it have something to do with the France '98 Diego Simeone incident? Maybe Beckham was cursed by him, and turned into a newt! That'd explain his lack of intelligence, and why he wasn't picked for a while!

I'm not saying he isnt or happy or not showing determination.
I'm just saying, if Beckham doesnt sign a new contract anyone will be able to sign him on a free in January 2003.
His value will start to fall after the world cup if a new contract is not agreed. So He would have to be sold.

Maybe Beckham's waiting to see who the new manager is first?? This would mean United have to be 100% accurate with the new gaffer, if Fergie isn't gunna stay on.

His future is in doubt becasue he hasnt signed a contract. It looks as though he wont be signing one before the world cup. Any further delays would mean United have to sell him.

Sure, if one of them gets injured you want a quality replacement, but Veron is the type of player who would expect to play in every game.
I think the Performance tonight showed we dont need Veron. Bolton aint no Pushover. Liverpool went to the Reebok and lost 2-1!
Altough, when the Champions leage starts again we will have a big pile up of games. Veron should prove very useful then.
