Your son? I think you should ask in the cheat forums really.

The reason it is scratched is because Bill Gates has obviously visited your house. It was a major news story. "Gates goes mad with a compass in other peoples house, he feels he will make more money this was as people will buy more games"

You could try repairing the disc with the Game Dr. This will resurface the disc and is often a successful solution. However the unit retails for £30.

You can't spell Party without Artie! If you misspell party! Or.. Artie.

Hmmmmm. NGC gave away some stupid plastice thing which let you use the game doctorB on you GC discs. It was green and see through and there was no explanation of what it was on the front cover. It confused me greatly.

You can use some sandpaper/glasspaper to remove the scratch from the disk, it'll work perfect afterwards.

No, it's true. It works best if you wet the sand paper with a little brandy first. Works like a charm.

I know of another, less respectable way of doing so which a mate did once.

He rented the game that was damaged from Blockbuster - you really need to already have a membership there or it looks totally suspicious - and swapped his disc for theirs as their discs have no markings on. He took it back the next day and said it wouldn't work and he got an error message, and asked for another copy of the game.

For £3.75 he got a working game - you probably could not make a habit of doing this though !

Or spend £30 on the Gamedoctor thing.
