Ok, im a ninty, always will be...

This week my mate is going on a geogrpahy field trip (thursday-wednesday). In exchange for my GBA, he is giving me his PS2. This includeds: GTA3, pro-evo soccer and Red faction. Im also borrowing Smackdown JBI from the video shop from Sunday-Tuesday.

One thing, I have played on a ps2 once in my life, for 5 minutes. Im pretty poor. I don't know what I am doing.

So...

Can someone help me with controls and what to do's on

GTA3
Smackdown JBI
Pro Evo soccer
Red faction

Anyone got an reccomendations too?

A week is not long enough to play GTA3, but basically go on a mayhem rampage first, club a few people, smash up a few cars then after a few days of these try the missions.

Play GTA3 and thats all you need to play. Its an amazing game, just like the previous 2 but in glorious 3D.

I think your mate has done something very stupid! I guess he'll have to buy another PS2 seen as you wont be giving his back - aye?

Hehe, good choice of games there IB, GTA3 is easy to get the hang of, but you'll struggle with Red Faction..configure the controls to your liking.

Dunno about Pro Evo, but Smackdown JBI is very easy.

Triangle= run
Circle and any arrow= grapple move
Cross and any arrow= punch/kick
square= reverse

I'd use the circle moves more, but to do specials you'll need to use an x move to stun them, and then press L1. Very easy to get the hang of, and simple and fun to play.

The controls for Pro Evoloution are quite easy:

Triangle= Through balls
Circle = Sliding tackle/Long pass (i think)
Ex = Pass
Square = Shoot/ Nudge tackle
R1 = Run (just hold down)

don't know what the rest are

GTA3s is pretty simple
X is run and acceleerate

Read the manuals.

Well what use is a PS2 whilst your on a Geography field trip?
