That's right! Nintendo of America claim I take my new GBASP anywhere! Despite my reminding them that although I am a big Nintendo fan, I don't have exclusive access to their products, Nintendo of America yesterday announced:

Edgy (with) New Game Boy Advance SP Takes Portable Game Play Anywhere

Yes, that is a little bit of attention seeking thanks to my generous 'donation' to Nintendo of America and my stimulating sessions with Mrs. Macdougal, but nonetheless, it has got my name in the headlines of a massive videogames developer's website.

Seeing as my attempts at zooming in on Dave Gosen's parade went without reward, and my lack of linguistic skills when it comes to communicating with the yellow people, I have to make do with my "USA! All the way!" and "God bless America" talk, by having my name only appear on the Nintendo website for the United States of 'Whatever'.

After trading in my white Game Boy Advance (which I dearly miss) and seeing it every day priced and ready to be sold, looking as good as new (even with the original clear-plastic cover in the box!), for a platinum Game Boy Advance, it seems I shall be getting ready to purchase another Game Boy Advance, mainly for the reason I wont need batteries no more, and it has a front-lit screen for gaming in the dark (although my Glowguard from InterAct certainly helps).

Other than for those few reasons, there isn't that much more of an incentive to buy the newer version of the Game Boy Advance, other than it looks more like the original Game Boy, as well as having a lot of design influence from the Game & Watch series, which will basically add to my collection of all things Nintendo. If I could afford to, I would probably own every Game Boy of every colour, and would probably even stoop so low as to buy a Manchester United edtion original Game Boy!

But alas, I can not afford anything, but rest assured, in 89 days time (or whenever it is), Special Reserve will recieve an order from me for a Game Boy Advance SP.
