About May last year, I purchased a breath taking and completely absorbing game. Seeing you are probably all going to exit and post in one of those complete spammy topics, i will cut to the chase. Final Fantasy 9. My favourite game ever. And I've got GTA3 and an impost copy of Metal Gear Solid 2.
One of the key features to RPGs is naming the characters. Althpugh they have set names, you can alter them the first time they are introduced into the game.
I decided to play it again, but changing the names of the main characters. I have written the things they said that sound weird or funny coming from their new aliases.
If you don't believe me, an think i made them all up, play the game again and you'll find every single one of these.
Note: This is only Disc 1. Look out for Disc 2, 3, and 4, which i am currently working into.
Okay, here's the cast.
Zidane - Asher (me)
Vivi - Natbuc
Steiner - Snuggly
Princess Garnet - Goatboy (No, Princess is not a mistake)
Freya - Meka*
Quina - KidRock* (wouldn't fit into the space if i added a space)
* These two enter a lot later into the disc so there are only a few quotes from the.
Asher.
Okay, me, the main guy. A bit cruel but sweet.
"Let us bury our steel in the heart of King Leo!" - Tut tut tut. Violence is never an answer.
"For I shall instruct thee in incomparable pain!" - Sounds a bit like what that comic store guy in The Simpsons would say.
"It kinda smells" - My award winning description of Doughnut Monster
"Maybe your right.... I'd never let anyone as pretty as you get away" - My best chat up line. What, it beats Solid Snakes?
"Well, with a face like his, I'd be pretty shocked too" - That's just cruel...
"Hey, look behind you!" - the old ways are always best
"Your nothing but a big coward!" - Lary
"I can't sit around knowing a girls in trouble" - goes against my nature
"Just say 'Alrighty'" - Giving speech lessons to Goatboy
"I know i screwed up in Evil Forsest" - Sometimes you just have to admit it
"Was that Goatboy singing?" - One of the more disturbing parts of the game.
"I'm popular with ALL the ladies in Lindblum" - shame 'Lindblum' is a fantasy land :(
"Come to me if you have any girl problems, okay?" - That foes to all of you as well. Asher D is your love guru.
"It looks like no-ones been here for a while" - Asher, after venturing past the first 3 topics in the Dreamcast forum.
"I'm Sir Asher of Tantalus" - That deserves a laugh.
"That sweet voice.... It's Goatboy" -
"I've got a date with Goatboy on the line" -
"So this is Meka's home...." - The pile of skinless cats and dead peole was fairly hard to take in at first.
Snuggly.
Right, he plays Steiner, one of the nicer and m ore pleasant characters.
Here are just a few of his kind words:
"Why you useless good for nothings!!"
"Have you nothing to say, you filth?"
"Camping - you imbecile"
"You silly peasant"
"You insolent fool"
"If you weren't such a filthy looking oaf!"
"Princess! I, Snuggly, have come to your rescue" -Snuggly's best Superman impression
"Could it really be trance....?" - snuggly discovers some real music
"This is all your fault!" - trying to come up with the most logical explanation.
"I am Adelbert Snuggly" - Heh heh heh.
Natbuc.
He plays shy, depressed mage Vivi.
"Yeah, so sad" - *Insert your own joke about Dringo*
"Yeah..... i just tripped, that's all" - Clumsy liitle oaf!
"She's gone...." - A sad moment
"Uh.... A-am i gonna die?" - Fingers crossed.
"Thank you, Mr. Asher" - At least he remembers his manners in the game...
"Are they avoiding me?" - School was hard for geeky Natbuc.
"I was just thinking" - Wow, that's rare!
"Those dolls... Do they really look like me?" - What, the Barbies? Yeah, spitting image.
"That man looks like my Grandpa" - In the game, it is referring to a round, tall creature that has a tiny face and a tongue that reaches down to the floor. Never befriend Nat, his family are weird.
Goatboy.
He plays the Princess.
"Asher told me to blend in" - The secret story of how Goatboy became 'popular'
"The kids are so energetic and there's so much to see" - A trip to the corner shop turns into an adventure
"Is my mother behind this?" - 'This' is a war. When Goat invites you round, run like Hell.
"Be careful Asher......." - awwwww
"For some reason it comforts me" - trying to explain the Digimon doll on his shoulder.
"Oh, finally! Some fresh air" - The outside world seems a lot nicer than he had assumed.
Meka.
Freya, the Dragon hunter. And a 'female'. Whatever that is.
"Sir Fratley, where are you?" - Fratley is Meka's love interest.
"His majesty is in danger" - Matching up to Snuggly's Superman impression.
"The smell of blood, and fire!" - A normal sunday morning in the Meka house hold.
"KidRock does whatever s/he feels like doing." - Note the S/he
"Sir Fratley - I don't think i can live on my own - not without you" -
KidRock.
The amphibious Quina
"But Master, frogs very good" - He eats frogs.
"Are their yummier frogs outside?" - The outside world seemed so big and dangerous.
"Asher, this flower taste good!" - Disturbing to say the least.
"I not human" - He confessed!

Why do you get away with cheating and getting banned then coming back so many times but when other people come back after cheating they get banned straight away?
