The APA showed up and asked what this is all about with the nWo, and Ric said that he knows the nWo and what they're all about, and he's going to try to talk to Vince. Shattered Dreams:
A Shattered Dreams Production. A video package was once again shown for Goldust and Goldust quoted some movies and he said like the devil, he exists. He's a reality, and he is much step closer to getting a taste of this. Goldust saw him perform last week. Impressive. The fans like him. They really like him, and Goldust likes him, too. Goldust likes the way that he has no idea what it is he's about to be dealing with. Right now, he's so joyous and enthusiastic. Here's to you, because one day, you'll look back on this period and remember how happy you were and how life was simple back then. For the pain and suffering and for your life was forever altered by the name you will never forget. Sssss Goldust.
Royal Rumble:
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler talked about Maven's performance at the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker had cleared the ring of several superstars when Maven was introduced. They showed the clips of that, and it was of Maven giving the Undertaker a drop kick over the top rope to eliminate him from the Royal Rumble. From there, the Undertaker snapped and literally destroyed Maven, but tonight, Maven is back for a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho!
Backstage:
Michael Cole was shown with Chris Jericho, and Michael asked Chris if it's true that he's the one that granted Maven this title shot? Chris said of course, and why? Because he's a fighting Champion. The Undisputed Champion! It has nothing to do with the fact that everywhere he goes, they don't compliment him about his win over The Rock at the Rumble, they talk about Maven. "He was never officially eliminated! He deserves a title shot!" Poor little Maven. Maven, Maven, Maven! Wah! Chris said that he scores a huge win, and all the people want to do is talk about the kid from Tough Enough? We know that he's Tough Enough, but is he good enough? Chris said that after he beats Maven tonight, he's going to watch Austin and Angle beat the hell out of each other, and at No Way Out, he's going to give one of them an undisputed beating from the Undisputed Champion!

Ric Flair was shown in his office and Stephanie showed up. Stephanie asked Ric who the hell he thinks he is? Booking Triple H in a match against Booker T tonight. Stephanie had plans for Triple H tonight, and Ric couldn't take that into consideration, could he? Triple H has a lot on his mind. He's got a title shot at Wrestlemania. Ric told Stephanie to stop and then he said that he's sorry, but let's get something straight. If she's looking for the reason Triple H is wrestling Booker T tonight, talk to Vince, because he booked the match! Stephanie said that it might have something to do with the name that Hunter called him on Smackdown!, and Ric said that it doesn't matter, because she has to get in line to talk to Vince, because when he shows up, they are talking about the nWo!

A limo was shown arriving in the backstage area, and it was Vince McMahon! Vince got out of the limo, and the driver apologized for them being late, and he won't let it happen again. Vince put his hand on the guys shoulder and he patted him and then he went on his way!
In ring promo:
Ric Flair's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring as the co-owner of the World Wrestling Federation, and he's got something on his mind! Ric Flair got on the mic and he thanked the fans for their response, and he said that he loves Richmond, Virginia! A lot of tradition and a lot of memories. A great part of his life in wrestling was lived right here in this city, but he's got something much more important than himself to talk about tonight. Last week, as you know, another high in the career of Ric Flair. He walked out of the Royal Rumble as the winner over Vince McMahon. He was living as high as the WWF would let him go and then on Smackdown! on Thursday, he was high again and he was watching Vince McMahon melt down. Vince was clearly having a bad day, but not bad enough to bring in the nWo. There is so much about Vince, his father and the WWF that nobody understands.
Vince was talking about it, but he doesn't understand it himself. The tradition of this great company. So how do you impress a billionaire? You put together a video, and that's of the history of the World Wrestling Federation. They showed a video package of the history of the World Wrestling Federation and there was an insert of the nWo during that package of their debut on WCW Nitro, but then it went back to the WWF Attitude era and continued on. Ric Flair then said that doesn't say it all. Vince McMahon Sr. had a vision, and his son, make no mistake about it, Vince McMahon Jr. took this whole World Wrestling Federation to the level it is today. The greatest sports entertainment company in the world, and if Vince arrived in his limo and is anywhere and can hear him, Ric Flair would like Vince McMahon to come out here right now. There are 10,000 people here tonight that just lived their entire wrestling dream in four minutes.
Vince McMahon's music then hit and he made his way out and he got in the ring with Ric Flair and Ric said this is what he's talking about with Vince. Every time they step over the line, they talk about the reality of life, they talk about what makes them different. Vince especially, because this is his life. There's ten thousand people who want to love him for that. They are here tonight, because Vince has survived and made it. He's Vince, and if Ric Flair has done something so wrong in the last three months that Vince would bring those people here, then Ric owes him a huge apology. What is it? What does he want from him? Did he watch the video? That was Vince's father. That was his vision, and Vince took it to another level. This is all Vince's. Does Ric want Vince to lay down? Does Vince want to beat Ric? Hit him in the head? God damnit, what does Vince want him to do? Do not do this to your company. Look at The Rock, Austin, the Undertaker, Foley, all these guys, they don't deserve it.
Ric asked Vince what he wants him to do. Do not screw this up. You've spent a lifetime. Good, bad or indifferent, it's Vince's. Right now, it's good. It's the best God damned sports entertainment company in the world! Ric took his jacket off and he told Vince to punch him in the mouth. For his own good, and for everybody. What could Vince possibly be thinking, bringing the nWo in here, knowing the problems that hang in there? What can Ric do to heal it? Vince was silent this whole time, and Ric said that he's asking Vince. He's known these fans for 25 years, he's asking him in front of Richmond. Vince grabbed the mic, and he said that he wants his company back. 100% of it, and he wants Ric Flair out! However, he'll do the right thing for the company as long as Ric will, and the right thing to do is to sell him all the stock for the price he paid for it.
That's the right thing for him to do. If he does the right thing, he can call this whole nWo thing off, but if he does the wrong thing, then the fate of the WWF lies in Ric's hands, and he assures us that if Ric's answer is no, then the poison of the nWo will flow through WWF veins, wiping out anything in its path and it'll destroy the fan interest, thus it'll destroy the careers of every WWF Superstar, and ultimately, the nWo poison will destroy the World Wrestling Federation itself! It's in Ric Flair's hands. Think about it, and Vince will give him a couple of days. If the answer is no, the only solace he'll take is that he'll see Ric Flair, every WWF Superstar and every WWF fan in the world, he'll see us all in HELL! And the reason he'll see all of us in hell is because on the nWo killing field, Vince will be the last to survive!

A shot of WWF New York was shown, and the female Tough Enough winner Nidia is there for tonight. Jim Ross asked Nidia how she likes Maven's chances tonight. Nidia said that she's so excited for Maven. He's going against Y2J. It's unbelievable. Nidia said that she and everybody at WWF New York believes in Maven! Nidia told Maven to do the best he can, and he'll be a winner no matter what the outcome is!

Chris went for a drop kick, but Maven caught him by the legs and gave him a sling shot into the exposed turnbuckle. Maven then rolled Chris Jericho up in a pin for a two count! Maven then rolled Chris up in a small package for another two count and then Chris rolled Maven up and then he rolled through it and put him in the Walls of Jericho and Maven fought as hard as he could to get to the ropes, but Chris Jericho pulled him towards the center of the ring and then Maven tapped out!
Winner and still WWF Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho
The Aftermath:
After the match, Chris Jericho celebrated and then the Undertaker's music hit and he made his way out as Chris Jericho had a huge smile on his face. Chris Jericho got out of the ring as quick as he could and the Undertaker slowly made his way out to the ring. Chris Jericho joined Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler for commentary and the Undertaker put some gloves on in the ring and the Undertaker told the referee that he's just going to talk to Maven. The Undertaker approached Maven in the corner and the two exchanged words and then the Undertaker gave Maven a hard body shot and then he scared the referee out of the ring. Maven tried to battle back, but the Undertaker was able to get the better of him with a number of right hands and body shots in the corner. The Undertaker picked Maven up and rammed him into the exposed turnbuckle and then he put him in the tree of woe position and then he stomped away on him. The Undertaker then knocked Maven to the outside of the ring as Chris Jericho sat at ringside, enjoying the beat down. The Undertaker grabbed a steel chair and he jammed it into the throat of Maven and he slammed Maven into it, much like he did to Matt Hardy a month or so ago!
Update on Maven:
Jim Ross said that he was told that Maven was having a lot of trouble breathing.
Backstage:
The Coach caught up with the Undertaker and the Undertaker interrupted the Coach and asked him if those are his teeth? The Coach said they are, and the Undertaker asked him if he would like to keep his teeth in his mouth? The Coach said yes, and the Undertaker suggested he doesn't say Maven again, because if he does, he could be wearing his teeth as a necklace. Maven comes out, and the Undertaker spared him and as he was slapping around the Hardys, what does Maven do? He kicks him in the back and out went the Undertaker. That was Maven's decision, and now he's paying for it, and he's going to continue to pay for it until the Undertaker decides that he's paid up. As far as The Rock, what business is it of his as to who eliminated the Undertaker? The Rock wasn't in the Rumble, so he tells the whole world who eliminated the Undertaker. It was Maven, but it's none of his business. Everything is a big joke to The Rock, but the Undertaker isn't like the Coach. He doesn't sing and he doesn't dance, but he doesn't get disrespected. What happened to The Rock last week will continue to happen until it stops. Maybe The Rock will keep his mouth shut after what happened.
Backstage:
Jazz was shown walking in the backstage area and she heard something, and she went into the room and it was Chuck and Billy stretching together. Jazz was a little disturbed with the way they were stretching and they suggested that Jazz do it too, but she said no thanks and went on her way.

Triple H was shown in the backstage area and Stephanie showed up. Stephanie asked Triple H where his wedding band is? Triple H said that he took it off, because he has to wrestle. He always does that. Stephanie said speaking of wrestling, his match against Booker T, Flair didn't make it. Vince did. Maybe Triple H should have thought twice when he called him and a**hole last week on Smackdown!. Who knows what Vince has up his sleeve. Triple H said that he called Vince one, because he is one. Really. Does it matter? Does it matter who booked the match? For that matter, does it matter who it's against? Booker T tonight? Who cares. Triple H will kick Booker T's a** and Stephanie said that she hopes he does, and she hopes that he doesn't underestimate Booker T, because he can be dangerous. Triple H agreed, but that's not going to stop him. Stephanie suggested that he needs some help, and Triple H asked what she proposes? Maybe she come down to the ring with him? Triple H told Stephanie that he'll be just fine, by himself! Stephanie told Triple H to have it his way and Triple H responded by saying "Okay."

Serving class with a lot of fine a**! There's no doubt about it! Just ask one of the Godfather's satisfied costumers. DDP! The Godfather asked him if he used the escort service last night, and DDP said yes, and he had a big smile on his face as he was completely satisfied.
WWF New York:
A shot of WWF New York was shown, and the female Tough Enough winner Nidia is there for tonight. Jim Ross asked Nidia how she likes Maven's chances tonight. Nidia said that she's so excited for Maven. He's going against Y2J. It's unbelievable. Nidia said that she and everybody at WWF New York believes in Maven!

Austin grabbed the chair and he went to hit Kurt, but the referee got in the way and Austin stopped himself. Austin told Kurt to get up as the referee begged Austin not to do it. Kurt Angle told Austin to do it and Austin dropped the chair and gave Kurt a number of right hands and kicks into the corner! Austin then kicked Kurt in the gut and he went for the stunner, but Kurt shoved Austin into the referee and the referee went down. Kurt Angle then grabbed the chair and he nailed Stone Cold with it and then he continued to hammer away on him as he tried to get up. Kurt then tossed the steel chair to the outside of the ring as the referee got up and then Kurt Angle pinned Stone Cold, but he only got a two count! Kurt pinned him again, but only a two count. Kurt then punched away on Austin and then he put him in the ankle lock submission and Austin did all he could to get to the ropes and Kurt pulled Austin off the ropes and pulled him back to the middle of the ring. Austin tried to roll through, but he was unable to do so.
Austin finally got to the ropes and Kurt Angle released the hold and then he picked Austin up and gave him the Angle Slam and then he pinned him for a two count as Austin put his foot on the bottom rope! Kurt thought he won, and he started to celebrate, but Earl told Kurt that he didn't win. Kurt then threw a fit and then Austin got up and gave him the Stone Cold Stunner and then a pin for a three count to get the win! Stone Cold is going to NO WAY OUT against Chris Jericho!
