How about this as a game?

You have control over either Lloyd or Harry in a game which has in effect 3 games in one (E.G. Like Die Hard on the PS1 where theres the Airport, Driving through the park/city, and in the Nakatomi building).

The first section/part of the game could be a driving one where you have to drive to Aspen in a race against the Police Motorbike, the Guy from the Cafe, the undercover police woman who Harry tries to chat up, and the 'Gas man'. There would be say 10 different tracks, each one getting progressively harder, and you have to finish in the top two to move onto the next level. A points feature for the position you finish in will determine if you have completed the driving section of the game (E.G. 1st = 10points, 2nd = 8 points etc) with you requiring say 125points? You yourself could have a choice of vehicles, either the Dog Wagon, the Little moped, the Limo, or if you win all of your first 10 races you unlock the Lambourghini. The Dog Wagon would have better handling if driven by Harry, as would the Moped/Limo with Lloyd.

The second part of the game could be like a Broken Sword game, but you have to wonder all around Aspen to try and find all of the IOU's that you've written out for the money you've spent, this would just be 1 long level where you would have to interact with other people to get clues (possibly pay them and write an IOU for that also) as to what you've bought and where to look for the IOU's. Again you can take control of Lloyd or Harry, with each one having their own strengths and weaknesses, such as if Lloyd gets into a fight he can fire Cork bottle tops at people, or Harry could set their feet alight - that sort of thing.

The Third part of the game could be like something close to GTA (but funny) where once again you can play Lloyd or Harry (with the police woman as a possible unlockable character) and you have to scour the Posh Dinner (where the owls were), Mary Swansons House, Your block of flats (to track down the gas man), the supermarket (to get the old lady that stole your stuff), and the Hotel where you're staying. Like GTA there's a choice of weapons that you can use such as the gun you were given in the hotel, maybe you could throw an ammo of Peteies (the Budge), a cane (from the party/dinner), Salt shakers you can throw, exploding X-lax...who knows?

The game idea is there for the taking and obviously I would expect there to be spoken quotes on the game that are used in the film to add more humour...but what a concept this game would be? Once you've then completed the game the closing sequence could be you as Harry or Lloyd giving the suitcase to Mary Swanson before embracing in a lips over face snog!

Well it's a better idea than putting another shrimp on the barbie?

I probably would have sucked but it would have at least been funny which is where film games fall down...they try and be too serious!

Fair enough, but sorry to say, in the past, the games based on films havent been much fun to play. MIB was okay on PSOne, MIB 2 on PS2 was, at best, crap. Yor idea of racing them is quite inventive, you could race as the big hound van that Harry drives and the scooter that Llyod trades it in for.I would award a game like that.............. 7/10 or 75%.

Oh and not forgetting your secret weapon as Harry...the ability to fire missiles from your number 2 hole after a large dosage of x-lax!

On the car racing part of the game after winning every race you could receive points or money to contribute towards improving your vehicle e.g. chaging the dog your wagon is designed on etc. Ultimately though this sort of game should be based on the cartoon sort of graphics found in Broken Sword and a Racing game on the PS2 or Gamecube with cartoon grapics (not sure which one or what console)...get the jist?
