From what I remember you just go inside the boat, kill everyone, and then they're is a cut-scene where the rest of the plot unfolds and Hammond gets his son back.
Or take a trip to www.gamefaqs.com and find a walkthrough there, they've probably got loads so you should find the answer to all your problems!
