This is for everyone who wants to import a Gamecube.
They're a quite a few sites I know, but does anyone know any really good sites with cheap Gamecubes and low costs for Shipping.

my gamecube isn't going to get to me for about 3-4 weeks !
the guy that i bought it from has sent it by land !!! (truck , then boat , then truck ;-( )
instead of airmail , so ive got a little wait ahead me ;-(
but it's ok really , because if i did get it airmailed , then it would come in about 2 weeks , but then i wouldn't have any of my games , or the step down convertor of memory card , as they are all coming from different places (canada , usa , hong kong) so really when i think about it over and over , and words lose all meaning , ... it really does make sense. ;-)

Its highly unlikely that the jap/us games will play pal games.
If you get cube magazine from this very site it shows you how the jap/us is modded to play both.
On the us on a part of teh motherboard theres is three bits of metal on the jap there is only two.
The jap machine is modded so that the switch completes or breaks the circuit determining what region it suposedly comes from.
As for whether or not you should get one i posted earlier what its cost me to get one from lik sang.(a day or three ago)
210 for console and ups shipping but then i got hit by tax and had to pay an extra 50.
BUT its a great console and all the games ive been getting for 30-35 quid from dvdboxoffice.com.

well, they just use switches... the question is what companies suply gcs like this, and how have the tested them!

Im pretty sure they only play US and Jap games, but i have heard it is possible to play PAL games on import consoles, although how they tested this theory i dont know.
