Yes you can. There is only one prob you need to make sure your motherboard will support two. My computer has two 80 gb hard drives.

Not really another Hard drive, no.
More RAM, create another partiton.
Simple.
If you get the right gear, I could probably talk you through it.
That's what we've got. Win 98 for games and stuff, and other crap, and XP on another partition for work stuff etc.

Can add as many as your motherboard allows. I have three in a PC downstairs. You neet to set the pins on it up as a slave drive though and not a master drive.

Windows should pick them up.

Where ever you have the space.
If you bought an "off the shelf" PC from a shop then chances are you can't without upgrading first.

If you put it together yourself you should be able to do it quite easily.

If not you may need a new tower, motherboard, cables etc.
Depending on the size of disk it may be easier to just buy a bigger hard drive.

You would be better of posting this in the Web and PC forum.
Someone in there would take the time to guide you step by step through it.

I would recommend to get an additional hard drive, coz 10gig fills up real fast.

Check your motherboard manual and also look at your motherboard to see if you have a spare IDE connector on the motherboard.

Most motherboards have 2 IDE (I will presume you don't have SCSI or RAID). Now count the amount of drives you have (excluding disc drive). ie 1 hard drive and 2 cd rom drives = 3 which means you should have a spare connector on one of the IDE cables.

Buy a new hard drive, at least 40gig as they are about £50 and then put your 2nd hard drive on your secondard IDE. Partition it if you want ie into seprate sections for games, mp3s, movies, etc. (maybe a second operating system).

There's no problem in having another "internal" hard disc drive, provided you have spare connection for it.

Don't forget, there are plenty of cheapish external USB hard disc's around now.
