How do they get the egg in the meat pie without squashing it??? I know that the meat is moulded around the egg, but you would think that the pressure would squash it..... ONE OF LIFE'S MYSTERIES - WHO CAME FIRST - THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG AND THEN WHAT FREAKY THING HAPPENED TO THE EGG????? HMMMMMMMM.......

I don't really understand what your trying to say....

Is there a type of pie that has meat moulded around an egg? If there is this is the first I've ever heard of it.

Plus, looking from an evolutionary point of view, I'd say the chicken came before the egg....

Well I don't live anywhere near Manchester so that explains that....

But I still don't understand what on earth you mean about the egg earning the right to be called common.

like an everyday proper common chicken - what we would call a chicken - not a half dino - half chicken evolutionary nonsense animal.Which was the first to be classified as (down to the DNA bone)what we today would call a chicken? was it the animal which evolved through its own lifespan to become a chicken or did a slight change occur in breeding to make the egg of the non - chicken exactly the same as the egg of a proper (or common) chicken???????? eh???????? Hence which came first??????

Sorry but that is simply wrong.

From an evolutionary point of view, the argument goes like this.

Each reproductive cycle, a species develops further and further into the destined creature.

SO each time the chicken's ancestors evolved, it became more and more like a chicken. So when the first chicken like creature was cracked from its egg after a slight evolution from its parents just made it cross the line into counting as a chicken, that was the first chicken - and it came BEFORE the first chicken's egg!!!
