does any one know how to get past the level on southside vale where u have to save maria from the mafia?
Ah, GTA3. This game rocked in it's day, no bother getting Vice City, GTA3 kicks it's arsee.
First get a decent vehicle - nick the cartel cruiser from the garage where you start and get the armour
Ram the first roadblock with the cruiser running over the guards and jump out and nick their weapons
Walk further down toward dam but pick up the sniper rifle from the area at the trees
Use the sniper rifle to pick off the guards at the second roadblock and advance and pick up their weapons before they disappear
You should have at least one M16 and be around the first tower built into the side of the dam
Climb the first tower and pick off everyone you can see including setting off any fuel drums around
Then make your way to the flat roofed building and carefully make your way up the steps with your uzi holding auto aim as it is quicker to aim than the manual aim on the M16. Kill the guys on top and success is yours
