Yeh i cant wait for the new Conflict game, COnflict : Desert sabre comes out soon.
Conflict: Missing Presumed Dead is the third in the Conflict: series penned tentatively for a 2004 release. It's set in Vietnam in 1968 and based on 4 troopers trapped behind enemy lines. It's being developed by Pivotal Games for the PS2.
However, the biggest firefight in American history since Vietnam is also being made into a game. Operation Restore Hope, in Somalia in 1993, is being made into a PS2 game by Novalogic, featuring the Navy SEALs, Delta Force, Rangers and the 160th SOAR who all took part in that operation. (If you've seen the film 'Black Hawk Down' you'll know what this is going to be about).
Continuing the 'nothing is sacred in videogames' trend, I predict that a European publisher will start to produce a WTC disaster scenario based game within the next 10 years.

Vietcong looks sweet, I can't wait until it's released because it's just the type of game I'll really enjoy. I haven't heard anything about any PS2 vietnam based games, but you never know.
