"I really hope the Gamecube is delayed"

Who is this nutter you all think as you read this title. Its true I hope the game cube is delayed to the end of june. The reason: like many of you i have Exams coming up this summer which i need to do well in. May however is a prety bad time for us to have a new console released as this is the beginning of the exams. I hope that it is delayed just to remove the temptation of its presence on the market as i am sure Im not the only one who would rather be playing smash brothers than learning Economics.
I think I'll be strong eough to fight the temptation of getting my own GC before my last exam but rest assured that as soon as I've finished it ill be straight in to SR cash in hand to buy one.

I hope they delay it so I can save up more money!

Nice theory, but trust me, after 5 minutes on it you wont be able to stop! It is incredible!

Well, I help games relax me between revision and the like... but its got to be a no brainer like virtue tennis- somethin easy to get into.

well the temptation is TOOO strong for me ! just bought a load of stuff on ebay :
1 x Black Gamecube brand new $175 , probably been nicked , but who cares ! thats only £124
3x gamecube games , monkey ball wave race and rogue leader , all in one auction for $96 , thats only £69 for all three ! slightly used , but as long as they work , it's fine with me !

1x step down convertor from lik-sang , for only $9.90 !
1 extra controller for £23 , and a 2 memory cards at £10 a piece.

ive probably spent £30-£40 on postage , but when you look at the total (about £282) for all that , it's a bargain !


i havgent got any of it yet though , as i only bought it all yesterday.

anyway , i hope it comes out in this country asap ! because the longer it stays delayed , then the longer i will have to wait for a card to play UK games , coz i dont really want to buy everything from the USA.
