Odd request, maybe. But I demand you play it, for it is just so *damned good*!

You may have noticed it on playstation.com as one of the top 10 underrated games of 2002. They are unfortunately right..This game is absolutely superb. Play through worlds of weird visuals and constantly progressing music.

Experience synesthesia.

I know, it's absolutely superb.

And even though it has no human character, the life in Eden is one of the most emotional things I've seen in a game

Plus the music in the credits is so .. so .. perfect!

Yes. I don't how, but yes.
The whole "eden awakening" bit is beautiful - the most beautiful sequence I've seen in a videogame.

Same thing as Rez kinda, youre going through this vortex type thing and you have to press buttons that coincide with these bumps as they appear on the screen. Say you start off on drums you'll press the buttons when the bumps go past and it will do a little drum beat, then you press right or left to go to the next thing like Bass or Vocals and you complete a little string of these bumps without missing them to create that little part of the song. You keep doing this going onto each side for each thing like Vocals, Guitar, Drums etc etc and eventually make the tune up.

Pretty damn good.

(Sorry for the rather crud explanation but its a weird game, hard to explain)

Bought it when it first came out on the Dreamcast - definately one of my favourite games.

I just wish SEGA would make a sequel, and turn it into a massive fantasy flying adventure - you know, take the concept further.

The strange thing is that there is nothing wonderfully outstanding about the game, it's probabaly a game I wouldn't look at twice if I saw someone else playing it - but it so damn addictive!

I have the original dreamcast version, but yes it is amazing. It's only on the 5th stage that you really come to appreciate how good it is. I haven't done the extra stages yet, cos I keep replaying the earlier ones!
