2) Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid
3) Fletch
Might not have heard of Fletch. Pretty damn funny, in my opinion... great dialogue. And Kevin Smith is doing the prequel next year.
Bah wish I could drive :)
"How could I know you loved me, you never told me"
Says a lot about life.
Dont wait until you've been shot before you tell someone that.
"But you never spoke to me!"
That bit was amazing. The kitchen scene, yeah, and what happens just after...
The inital sequence when they get in... Christ, I really could just about name every scene.
People will watch expecting a schlocky, typical teen flick.
But it's not.
That insane ginger kid, the guy looking for the reason for her smile, the pretty girl with a psycho-streak a mile wide.
I think the bit that got me the most was the kitchen scene with the poison.
Excellent, outstanding film.
Just don't expect some dumb action movie
Basking kids in school. Tried to convince everyone I saw today to watch this film.
"What's the film about?" Everyone asked.
"Japan's in decline, all the schools are crappy, no kids even bother going to school... so the Government decides, just to show what they're capable of, to put one class of students on an island, and tell them to kill eachother off."
"Cool!" The kids said.
"Oh." The teachers said.
So then I kinda try to explain it's not really a movie about blood and guts, but the plots already in their head. Damn.
I will force these people to watch it.
It was like someone punching me in the face.
"Who's he?"
"He volunteered"
Got in, tired as Yogi...
(What?)
Tired as Yogi. Sorry, it's just I always remember him yawning or going to sleep in the cartoon.
Anyway, was a bit worried about watching Battle Royale, because I always, and I mean always, fall asleep.
So logic being what it is in my head, I put the film on.
Five minutes later, I couldn't even blink.
Battle Royale, has to be, the most utterly direct film that has been ever made when it comes to pure human emotion. Well, certainly of what I've seen.
If you think about it... they put a class of school kids on an island and tell them fight until only one survives... you do get the feeling that this must be a very childishly thought of film.
Wipe that completely. This film sickened me, utterly. I connected to every single thing that happened, and refused to twitch or even think about anything else than this film.
Wow.
Everyone must watch this film. Children should be forced to watch this film, as should teachers. Everyone.
Britney Spears should be sat in front of this film and be forced to watch it a few dozen times. Then she'll see what a film about "friendship and love" is all about.
Christ. It really drained me.
> Got Rat Race and Ghost World on DVD the other day.

Ghost World - Amazing film, isn't it?
