The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
However, I can garuantee that if you don't alter something in the way you've been posting, you will be on the receiveing end of some verbal abuse from somebody here sooner or later.
Yeah.. whatever.
(Well, Sniper is, but he does that to pretty much everybody, so don't take it personally)
I'm just trying to figure out a bit about you before I tell you why it's not a good idea to go arond saying you don't like a particular console or company.
There are a lot of people on these forums, and many of them are complete idiots. Some prejudiced, some ignorant, some arrogant, and a good few that are a combination of all three.
I'm not telling you what to do here, but I am telling you how to avoid having these idiots moan or try to poke fun at you.
1) Don't slate off anything/anyone without reasons. If you do want to criticise something (like Nintendo), do it with the reasons why they aren;t very good, not just by saying "Gamecube is crap".
2) Spelling, punctuation, and grammar. It's a good idea to use them, rather than being lazy and not using capital letters at the start of sentences, etc. If you use them, you give the impression of being more intelligent.
3) Don't have a go at people. I probably don't need to mention this, as I don't think you would anyway. Most people are decent enough so long as you give them some respect.
Now you're double posting! :D
