Rumoured to be over one thousand times more powerful than the PS2, Sony have shown graphics demos to the console's true ability- a ten minute Tekken demo run off dozens of top rnage server PCs in pre-rendered form took centre stage.
The Sony chairmen, Tagishoka Nagosha, calmed fears that the demos would not reflect the true quality of PS3 games by saying,
"Our suprememly obscure hardware design and architecture will allow developers the challenege to produce the best games around. Not only will they be able to chose, and then program their own method of anti-aliasing as with the PS2, but they will be able to do the same with the software-hardware interface, and the ability to display games in colour- all of which must be programmed from basics."
When asked about whether the final hardware would reflect the level of power given by the top-of-the-range servers used, Kirashima Toto-san, chief of console design said:
"Out 'throw-dart-wall-method' of design will ensure top qulaity design."
Rumoured for the release of the console are Gran Turismo 7, Final Fantasy XXVII, Ridge Racer IX, as well as other equally original titles.
Finally, Sony chairman for European divisions, Martin Sheen, said that:
"The official release date upon which we will release the official release date of the release date of the console has been officially rumoured to be pushed forwards."
This started an inevitable swarm of Sony fans to queue up outside stores in anticipation of the console's launch.
