And I'm soooo glad I did to!
This was a WICKED film!
Pretty much a 2hr 30min battle!
What happened was it was in some Islamic type place and there was all this fighting going on within the country. And so the American were trying to sort it out by sending in some men to go kill some of the main leaders of this militan group. Basically what happens is it doesn't go to plan. As the choppers are on there way to drop the soldiers off, the militans get alarmed and arm up. And so when the soldiers finally get there all hell breaks loose. The rest of the film is pretty much about these soldiers trying to get out again, and also trying to rescue some people in a couple shot down choppers (thus the name Black Hawk Down).
What made this film quite interesting is the fact that if your a fan of Rogur Spear or Counter Strike you'll absolutely love it. This film could have been called Rogue Spear. It was just like it!
Another thing which made this film interesting to me, was that at Christmas I went to Egypt. The setting of this film was pretty much just like that. Thus I've seen for real how these people live, and where they live. It does add a kind of level to the film you won't get if you've never experianced it yourself. Like people walking down the streets with AK's on their backs. Quite an odd site to see.
Anyways, if your old enough, go see this film. It's something like a 15 I think!
