As the games industry grows the console grows stronger and turns like an x men,you are wondering why i said this well they are mutating,remmember the olden days when the snes and megadrive were just consoles that played games,but ever since the inclusion of the saturn and playstation there are little added extras such as the ability to play music cds, i am not saying that it is a bad idea but does it change players mind in which console to buy,for example the playstation 2 has the ability to play dvds and that is why it will sell well,not for its games ,which is wrong because i thought that console should always concentrate on games.These extras are turning our systems into electrical piecs of equipment instead of one,i mean what is next the inclusion of a toaster it is going to change our perception of games and the way we play and hopefully this will pass through and go back to the olden days.
