ok, I have no idea what i've done, but ichanged my screen to 1024x768 from the, 800x600, anyway, the screen is pretty much how i'd like it, but my desktop is a little bigger and the start menu is either HUGE! or too small, i've trid quite a few things, but obviously not thw right ones, i'd be grateful for some help please :)

Right click on the Start button and see if there's a "Properties" or something option. Uncheck large icons or something. Either that or restart, see what happens.

ok, to explain a little further, the desktop and start menu icons are bigger than they were when viewed through 800x600, the start menu icons are in list form at the moment, so they're too small (sparently) although they'd probably stay like it.....
