i wouldn't because i got gta3 and vice city, the sameness is unforgivable, why don't they just come up with an origional idea?

But the similarities between those two games were well-documented. You should have realised this, and so if you didn't like it, you shouldn't have bought them. Personally, any GTA game is great, and this new one could be really well done, or it could be the same as before. Hopefully, there'll be more innovations etc but even so it's a great concept, and they shouldn't abandon it just becaue two games are similar. Look at Fifa and Tomb Raider for the example, because companies know that they can't tweak systems by a really great amount if they need money, although differences would be nice.
