I admit I am a fan of simulations like Microsofts Combat flight simulator or Rallying.
I do admit simulations can be boring. I do enjoy playing action games but I do get fed up when I'm confronted with stupid men who have been taught by the "computer tactics of shoot and run straight at 'em ".
Take Vice City. I'm sure that in real life gangs actually try to stay alive, and not be blown apart by your rocket laucher. Only the insane would surely try to take on a man wielding a rocket laucher. The swarve James Bond does not even attempt that, unless he finds a convenient oversized girder above the man head .
Should we pay decent money for a games that doesn't make any moral sense, or if all the games were realistic it would just be impossible to play or be too boring.

You what?

Not really, you only have to shoot him before he's managed to lift the thing and get a decent aim, and guns are quicker.

I don't see what that has to do with anything

Yes, exactly, thats why Nintendo are better than everyone else. Realism is crap, because the real world is crap, so trying to emulate it as accuractly as possible in a *game* is stupid.
