well everyone seems to be talking about the ps2 going online which everyone has known about for ages now but what i wanted to know is how much would it be? my friend reckons it will be £50 to get broadband installed (ive already got it) and then £30 a month to just play games! is this true? does anything get included in this price like any free games/equipment(headphones etc)?
also when does ps2 go online and are you or your mates going to get it?

This is something that I've been wondering about for ages now, the price and also what's the subscription going to be like.
I too have BroadBand installed at home and will not be wanting to pay additional money to get it installed again.....methinks Sony will have missed the boat with a fair few people on that part.
Also hardware, yep your going to need a network adapter...that's fine but I still haven't seen any reliable prices about these.
Subscriptions, again Sony aren't going to let you access their servers for nothing (I presume) so how much are they going to be charging? This is a very grey area, do they charge a set fee per month or maybe bill you for how long you've been connected?
Just wish Sony would hurry up and start releasing some information to people who have registered.....I registered with them just after launch day and I've had so far about 3 or 4 emails from them which in my view is pretty poor!
Come on Sony sort it out will you!

Depends because by time it comes out there should be broadband in my area, i will get it but i wont be paying extra to play games.
