Pentium 75s, 24mb Ram, 2 gb HDD, Win 95. This belongs to a friend who has saved up for a digital camera and wants to use it for loading and printing the pictures.Possibly with a bit of red eye removal nothing fancy.
1)Is it worth upgrading this to Win98, adding a PCI USB card and possibly a bigger hard disk so he can use it for photos.
2)Will a 20gb HDD be recognised in this OK, can't seem to find any smaller for sale.?
3)Or buy a camera with a dedicated printer by passing the PC.
The PC currently meets all his requirements for word processing etc and as he is on a budget a new PC is not really on the agenda.
Any suggestions greatfully received

Yeah, RAM is a definite need, it'll run but so slowly that he could have had his photos developed quicker.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the red-eye though, An investment in some RAM may be in order. He needs more anyway.

Yeah, nothing wrong with that at all. You might have some trouble with the 20GB hard drive, so a BIOS change might be in order, but apart from that you're sorted.
