Ive just quit tribes 2 community after boredom and frustration(lasting nearly 2 years) and wondered if anyone knew of an equivilent game type or when planet side is coming out. Ive checked there forums but was hoping something has 'leaked'. Please help as 2 or 3 months without fragging will finish me for good. And no counter strike isnt what I had in mind.

PlanetSide is still down for Q1 release this year, so within the next 6-8 weeks. External beta testing is going to start 'soon' according to the development team, that could be anytime between now and the next fortnight by the sounds of it. More details here:
