Well, the console is Broadband only. Im not sure about this, but I think that means you can only play the games whilst connected to the net, therefore costing a fortune.
Whereas you can still play 'normal' games on the X-Box.

But XBox Live (Broadband) is very very good & proves it can be done,. Why can't this "next step" work?
If this console comes out at the end of the year, just think who it's going to appeal to.
It's only the people who have broadband that will be able to get it, and that's not a lot. I also doubt the ones who haven't got it will go and invest in broadband just for this console, while there are other consoles that don't require it.
It's a pretty ridiculous concept for the present, way ahead of its time. It just won't work. Plus I'm sure if someone was actually planning on making the console, then they would have figured this out and wouldn't bother. This is why I think it's a hoax.

Your better buying a Mega Drive for £20 quid or something, if this console is indedd an 8-bit machine. I think we have enough choice when it comes to gaming anyway with the 3 consoles that are already out.
