After a gruelling day of the same boring lecture in school about chemical equations and in which way should we put the paint on the paper,thankfully there are games to calm our nerves for the next day.Strolling home with a bag that weighs the size of Vennessa Felts cursing the day you went to school and keep reminding yourself that it will get better as the week progreeses,to my delight there is my faithful console which never argues ,never tells you to take the rubbish out ,never telling you to clear up just place the disc in and of you go,stress vanishes from your brain and you just relax and seep back to the primorial ozze you seeped from know as the bed,you play for hours against the computer if your lucky maybe even an opponent in some foreign,fragging against innocent victims as their quest to kill you comes to an end wiht a bullet in you back,or even an adventure game in which you must put thought aside and enjoy the experience when you are suddenly awoken from your gamers day dream to discover you have to go down to eat dinner.After that little session in the dinning room you trundle back upstairs slip on the last step and crawl to your bedroom,slithering up the bed you crawl back in your spot and embrace your self in what is known as videogaming heaven.The day turns into night slowly and the minutes turn to hours and you drift off to a deep sleep.The next time you awake wont be in a imaginary quake world but a morning full of caos as you try to get ready for school and slip out of bed and remember that piece of course work that needs to be handed in today,the thought enters your mind that today you should grow a migrain and give school a miss.
Like what? in the wild? no my life is similar to the one you describe, go to school (well college now) and be bored, come home and play games. Kinda like that.
Yes i thought it was a good post, because it is (as far as those gamers who go to school are concerned, which is a lot) quite accurate.

Quite... But don't complain, we chose to live like this! And hey, if it wasn't for all the boring stuff, Computers would never have been invented and we would still be living like monkeys! So you can choose to give up technology and live wild (not a good idea, we kinda evolved into a useless creature for wild survival when not equiped with any tools at all) or suffer the boring parts of life, knowing that you can go home to your computer (or console) and forget it all for a while. Oh and remember that there are jobs out there which pay well but require little work, most of them need good education though... try to aim to get one of them, or at least high paid! (so you can enjoy all the latest games and hardware)
