On the Formation screen, just below the display at the top showing the formation etc, there is two rows of coloured dots (eleven in total I think).
Some of these are dull some are bright. What do these signify?
The instruction manual is woefully short in some areas. There seem to be a lot of omissions. Doesn't help newcomers to the joys of Pro Evolution.

There are 5 different possibilities for the player. A player with low form will be more prone to making rash challenges, getting injured, having poor accuracy, more chance of miskicking the ball and more chance of miscontrol than a player with high moral, it makes a lot of use. It usually explains why outstanding players sometimes have really bad games, etc.
