Is it just me, or in the game Red Faction, are the weapon preferences all messed up. I mean surely the Heavy Machine Gun, which doesn't even lock on to enemies isn't half as good as the precision rifle, which I believe is the best weapon by far. The precision rifle is the most versatile weapon in the whole game so surely that should be the prime weapon. The Flame thrower and sniper rifle are also too far up the default preference as both are useless. The flame thrower is purely awful and useless in multiplayer, and the sniper rifle is difficult to master and shouldn't even be included as the precision rifle does it's job better.
I know it is possible to change the preferences around, but please give me your views.
