I've been playing the Vietcong Multi-player demo for a couple of days now, and i have to say, wow. Everythin' about this game is great, game play, graphics, weapons, blood, sound ect... My only complaint is it takes a fair few shots to the body to take some body out.What do you think?
Yep, online games sure are starved in the area of original ideas.

I don't think its people running out of ideas as such, I just think Vietnam is new setting developers are beginning to exploit.
I think now we'll start to see more games based on that war and possibly other similar conflicts, and less games based on World War 2 which have been the main source of inspiration for developers over the past few years.
It happens all the time, it's called jumping the bandwagon.

I hate multiplayer demo's, so I'll leave my judgement of the game until I get to play a single player demo or read the first reviews. Looks great though.
Also, their will be another Vietnam based FPS coming out this year I think, and made by 2015 no less who did a great job on Allied Assault. I'm not sure whether it'll be a straight shoot em up like MOH or a realistic tactical squad based game like Vietcong, but I should good.
