'HOARDS! GO!'
*The Hoards Go*
If its real, it will sink faster than the Saturn and Jaguar put together....
It's just a very good well thought out prank.
well done.
> Would you buy a skip off me if I told you it was a Jaguar XJ220?
Hah hah! I laughed so hard at that comment that I almost chocked to death.
*Note to self - don't laugh...you might die*
All I've seen so far is a picture and a few words on a website. They don't mention at all what type of processor they're using, what components are inside it, it doesn't look like they have any backing at all from anyone, and they seem to be selling it on the premise that it plays PC games, and yet there's nothing new, everything they say the Phantom can do a PC can do as well.
The way things are worded, I'd think that this was either:
a startup company hoping to float on the stock market, make a ridiculous amount of profit, sell up, then leave the new owners wondering how they're going to take on MicroSoft in the US, let alone the rest of the world.
a couple of college students hoping to scare MicroSoft into buying their company out before they can release their product.
a prank: the name 'Phantom' means:
"apparent to sense but with no substantial existence"
"something elusive or visionary"
"something existing in appearance only"
"a representation of something abstract, ideal, or incorporeal"
