I just received the Action Replay 2 version 2 this morning and it works fine, no green screen and the codes etc work. I knew beforehand that if, like me, you have the DVD remote from Sony with the upgrade CD then you needed to enter a code to upgrade the Region X component of the ARV2. My DVD player is version 2.10E and DVDID is also 2.10e. Looking down the list of upgrade codes on the dvdregionx.com sire I decided that it must be the set of codes for the Euro Remote (2.10). I followed the instructions exactly, and checked the code I entered for the DVD code screen was correct. I clicked on "done" and a box came up with "checking DVD drivers", this then disappeared to be replaced by the "select your region" screen. As a postal mess up has meant my region 1 DVDs are still somewhere else I tried a Region 2 disc, it played fine and the DVD remote works.
Does anyone know if this means I've successfully upgraded the ARv2 ?
Does the upgrade code have to be entered every time or is it saved ?
Is it normal for the ARV2 not to show up on the browser screen ? - it only lists my memory card but I know its working cause I played RECVX with the rocket launcher, and Mallrats without green screen.
Any help is welcome !
