Actually that isn't entirely true... but it made you think!

Put it this way, about a year ago, PCZone summed it up with "you could download all the porn on the internet in half an hour"!

Whoa, Thats a brilliant connection speed... Thats like playing Offline gaming Online.. And... *Dreams* (Of stuff that shouldn't be said like free games off KaZaA) It does just show hows the technology is changing so fast, Before you know it 56k will become something to really laugh at and T3 being the most 'common' (Maybe in like 20 years)

Erm, I didn't know that. Suddenly that 1MB connection doesn't seem as expensive.

T3 and 1mbit are very, very different things. A T3 conection is a leased lines costing several grand a month, with some serious speeds..Figure in my head is 44.7mbps or suchlike, although someone may come along and correct that..They're almost exclusively for large businesses and educational insitutions.

T3 connection is basically an internet connection which is twice as fast as broadband, or there abouts. I only costs about £10 extra, though that would meen from my service provider, if I where to get a T3 connection, or 1MB as they call it, it would cost me about £35 a month.

I'd be tempted to get a T3 connection, but I don't need it, and I especially don't need it at the price service providers charge for it.
