I can't get ntl, or cable, or broadband, or anything, before we start.

I have a BT line, I want to change my ISP.

I want to pay a flat fee for access anytime.

What's my best option, how much will it cost, and what's the link?

I've got Freeserve and it's pants, it's ok but there are better, I just can't affored them

AOL's £15 a month looks like the best though, I've seen it in use at a friends and it's twice as fast as mine.

It did cut off a lot at one point, but they sorted it out for her pretty quickly, so I'd look into them if I were you.

I'd also recomend waiting for Freeola's offering, but who knows how long that would take so best looking into AOL me thinks :o).

Sure thing.

Freeserve are pants. The are really overloaded, and they are by no means the best. I used to be with Tiscali who did £14.99/month for 24/7. Excellent service, but a bit expensive. Now I'm on Free24-7.net, which costs £7.99/month for 24/7. The service is not too bad, but they have authentication problems every now and again. It's a 4-hour cut off, but mine always disconnects dead on 3. Still, not everything's perfect.

I have BT, at the moment. They suck. Disconnected every 40 minutes and sometimes it takes me about 2 hours to actually connect.

FreeServe www.freeserve.com are the best I've come across. Stay well clear of AOL and that's my advice. Just waiting for TBN to disagree now....

£12.99 a month for anytime.
