I was toying with whether to get Half Life for a while but when I saw that the PS2 version included, among other things, a bot match (according to the Spike2k review) I was convinced.
But oh no, it doesn't include a bot match does it?
IF YOU'RE GOING TO REVIEW A GAME - MAKE SURE YOU'VE ACTUALLY PLAYED IT FIRST. IT'S A BIG HELP.
And if you have played it, make sure to include the facts.
A proper review of Half Life (PS2) will be on the way in the coming weeks.

I couldn't find anything to confirm OR deny botmatches. Deathmatches were constantly mentioned and of course Red Faction & Unreal Tournament included it.
The only place I could find a confirmation was in Spike's review - yes, so perhaps he made a mistake but if you can't really find an answer and someone says 'yes it has' I tend to trust them. Especially on here.
Anyway - let's not blow it out of proportion, it's still a good game.

Well Mr....... if you are not THAT bothered why did you post it then. When you say bot matches I presume you mean deathmatches against the computer....Again I will repeat myself you cant just rely on someones review justlike that. Check some magazines out first, go to some gaming websites or check SR's own review.
I always check numerous sources before I take the plange and buy the game...If you need the botmatches that much, get the PC version. I am sure you will find something there for you....

Spike, not SERIOUSLY angry - it's meant to be lighthearted but still a serious point.
There was one single reason why I was pondering whether to buy it or not - botmatches. The only reason I decided to go for it was seeing that in your review it was supposed to be included.
Basically it means I can't really make use of the multiplayer matches (no friends you see!).
Anyway, point's made, I'm not THAT bothered and Pro Evo get a sense of humour AND my name right. Cheers.

Take it easy lads. Its not such a major mistake and I dont think there was need to bring it up. I think that you should have read other reviews as well (such as in magazines) before deciding to buy the game. You cant just rely on a review from a user, whoever he is
