And I don't mean a metaphorical one either. I dug a huge one at the weekend to get rid of this old tree stump that had been cluttering up our front lawn. Took me 2 and a half hours. I scraped my hand against a brick wall whilst doing it.

I dug a hole doggy style in the mud in Epping Forest a couple of weeks ago. I happened upon an underground "stream" (Translation: Trickle, the field instructor type person was facsinated by it. She needed to get laid :-D)

I then made a cute little house and a pretty flower out of clay... and then I "knocked" (Translation: Pushed) the field instructor into the River Rhoding. She was annoying me :-D

Hmm... methinks I have just dug myself into one with that last comment...

I dug a hole in the woods years ago to bury some evidence of teenage underage smoking and drinking.

Does that count?

I don't have children, but could possibly be classified as a child... just about. I dig holes on the beach. Usually with my hands, and they almost certainly have intricate tunnel systems.

I can't say I've dug a hole that recently, though.
