I've heard several rumours that GBA game prices are going to drop.

Would make sense for them to do so before the Gamecube's release, as at the moment they're awfully expensive, with an RRP of £34.99.

When the Gamecube is released it is thought that the games won't have an RRP of more than £44.99.

GBA games need to be more than a tenner cheaper than Gamecube games, or people are going to think that they're gettign ripped off for GBA games, and Nintendo sure don't want that.

I think the GBA game prices should DEFINITLEY drop when the GC's been launched over here. The only reason they're still priced so high is cuz they're the only way that Nintendo can get any real money in, as the production of N64 games has stopped. But why don't they just re-release some of the N64 games that we haven't seen for years??? That's the least they should do for making us wait so long!!

Today I went and said a rare 'hi' to the GAME workers in Wimbledon. Talking about the GameCube and basically if they have heard anything or have any news...

...the manager seemed to not want to talk on the subject as the staff said they think its going to be the best.

That made me smile.

It was said ages ago that the RRP was going to be lowered by at least £5

I think the latest rumours state that this is going to happen some time in Feb!

Well, It would make sense.

Personally I think GBA prices are bang out of order. I have only bought 2 GBA games as I feel its just not right to be charging that much for games such as SNES remakes.

I'm only looking to get Advance wars and Sonic in the near future. Maybe Mario Advance 2 as well, becasue Super Mario World is still a top game to play.

I don't really remember.

It was on one website, when they were writing about what Nintendo would be announcing in France in February. Gamecube release date, and a drop in RRP for GBA games.

It might have been Nintendojo or tendogamers though.

It might just have been speculation, mind.
