If you think about it, adults are supposed to be mature, responsible, and intelligent. Viciously killing people and craving blood is hardly responsible or intelligent. I think “Adult games” are actually, in a way, quite childish. Adult games to me are games that need the use of your brain, to solve puzzles, work things out, etc. Games like the Discworld games, Zelda, Black and White, etc are far more “Adult” in my opinion
Also, before you had the kind of graphics you get now, they couldn’t do the effects with violence then. People didn’t used to call Mario or Sonic childish, but people say they are now.
So, if you still think violence is adult, then that’s fine. In a way I would agree (you don’t want disturbed, violent children), but maybe you should change your views just a little.
