Something just occoured to me.
What do you get if you add a console-producing company hungry for overdue success to a big increase in 3rd party software, a 'short and sweet' policy on game difficulty and the cheapest current-generation console on the market, and put it all in a bucket in the shadow of playstation success?
Yes, you get something with scary playstation-like beginings.
I'm not about to rant about the playstation, but there's a reason why most people who read this topic will have chosen n64 over sony's box of tricks.
Could we be in line for a nintendo console aimed to fill the niche once held by playstation? I hope not, and don't think i need explain the reasons, but the signs are there, it does look very much a possibility.
The ONLY reason the PSX sold better than the N64 is cuz of PIRACY!!! The N64 games were over 10 times better, and the N64 deserved to win, as Nintendo played fair!
short and sweet? come on they are first gen titles and pretty damn good compared to say timesplitters (cringe)
Shadow of playstation...they simply caught nintedo of guard
what with teh ....saturn (double triple cringe) not putting much fight up
