There's yet room on the x greatest z of all time bandwagon, so here's another one.

There are only 8 here, because I ran out of ideas... but I'm sure there are plenty I've missed.

8) Completing SF2
At number ten, the moment when you first defeat M.Bison on Street fighter 2. The slow motion fallin over... smashing the vases... coupled with the fact that you've just played right the way through the most renowned fighting game in history all add up to somethign special.

7) The highway on crazy taxi
You're used to being invincuble on this game. you dirve round like a luncatic, with little regard for traffic. Then you reach the highway. All of a sudden you're no longer lord of the road. It's a very humbling experience being hemmed in by two lorries on the lonely highway.

6) Completing Zelda: OOT
Here's a quality game. Hailed as the greatest game ver in it's time... and it took a while to finish. Seeing Ganon finally fall after all those hours, and all those temples gives a great sense of achievement that is hard to match.

5) Gauntlet
Too old for most of you, but well worth experiencing. The hectic rush as endless swarms of enemies assaults you hasn't been seen in many games before or since, and is what gave this game it's reputation.

4) GTA3, first drive by shooting.
You're free to go wherever you want, do whatever you want. Steal cars, kill people, avoid police, the lot. It's when you first pull off a drive by shooting that you realise how great this game really is. A moment to remember.

3) First zombie on resident evil
The first time you play this game, you don't know quite what to expect. You sit through the intro, and the atmosphere is set. 'Something' is wrong. But what? You play through a couple miniutes of the game, and nothing happens.
Then all of a sudden, you walk around a corner, straight into a zombie feasting on one of your dead friends. He turns slowly, and stares at you with his dead eyes.

2) Turok, head shot
First person shooters were common, but this was special. You could hit enemies in different parts of their bodies. The first time you send an arrow into the head of one of those mysterious cultists, and see the blood spurt out and the enemy fall to the ground clutching at their head, it's great.

And finally, number one. The greatest gaming moment you'll ever experience....

1) Mortal Kombat - first death move (especially if it's by accident)
You beat a character, and they get KO'd. This was the trend for years and years. Not any more. You're playing this game for hours... you beat an opponent, and the words 'Finish Him' appear, in blood writing. You walk up to your opponent, press a few buttons, expecting to punch them over, as usual - but instead the screen darkens. There's a pause, which feels like eternity. You pulse doubles, and your eyes open wide. Then your character turns to face you. He removes his mask, revealing nothing but a menacing skull. He breathes flames over your stunned opponent, the fire lighting up the screen like fireweorks. Just as suddenly, he stops... and you see your opponents charred skeleton crash down to the ground, amid an eerie silence. Unbeatable.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
