the sims on playstation 2 comes out in six days will it be better then the rest?

I think it's a game which appeals to a younger market, and especially sisters. My sister uses it as a kind of virtual Big Brother simulator, though thinking about it, you can't really do much with the game except turn it into a computer game version of a Doll House.
MY sister has also invested £60 towards expansion packs for the game, what a waste.
As for the PS2 version of the game, well it has a plain looking 3D engine and some tasks to complete, that's about it for improvements I think. From what I read from PSW the game still becomes incredibly boring after the initial gimmick of controlling you're own user created family wares off.

Your video card means nothing, you play it on a decent resolution and it looks rather good...

My video card is not bad, and it's an LCD - a bit sharper than CRT. But from what I saw on the PSW disc, PS2 Sims will at least match this, and possible be slightly better.

GTA3 looks so much better on my PC than the PS2, even if I had to buy a new graphics card to be able to play it!

Nah, The Sims is a good game. You need to have an imagination to play it though...
Must only be girls that like it then! I used to like it, but gone off it now only because I played it too much and cheated. Was thinking about getting the PS2 version too, but...
