I recently purchased a imported E-reader and i must say that's it's very good. For £40 you can get a E-reader and Donkey Kong Jr or Pinball (Nes classic) personally i would go for Donkey Kong Jr. In the pack you get 5 cards which you have to swipe to get the Nes classic and another pack of 5 cards featuring a Mr Game and Watch Manhole-e game (stop the men above the sewer from falling down, by placing a manhole in the gap, it get very hard) and 3 Pokemon cards that you swipe (Machamp and the other two) to get a rock bashing game (even if you don't like pokemon like me, it's still fun) and finally one Animal-crossing card that gives you a great tune for the game (quite pointless if you haven't got the game but i have).
If you have an Imported Animal crossing you can buy some great cards, featuring all your favourite characters. I brought 6 packets of series One a few weeks ago and there great!! to my luck i got the Rare Shine Sprite clothes desgin and a Nes game!! I advise you buy series 2 now though (they were released in America earlier this week) and you can play some great mini-games and get new designs, tunes and items etc...

The price of the Animal Crossing cards is £4.99 for a pack of five. But you can buy them cheaper. Gamestop.com is a great site ($2.99 per pack) but i don't know if they ship to Britain etc... Anyone used them before??

I don't see why they wouldn't.
Even though it wouldn't matter.

Will the E-Reader ever see a European release? And if so, will imported Animal Crossing cards (which I'm assuming will be canned for Europe) work on it?

Don't know if anyone knows but if any of you have an Another World store near you - there are only about 7 in the UK, they are selling the Ereader 39.99 and packs of cards 4.99, faster than importing anyway, don;t know if it is cheaper though !

Great!! I hope your enjoying Animal Crossing. It's extremly unfair that all European gamers can't play it. It's a superb game but surprisingly is made even better with the e-reader cards. To be honest i would buy series 2 now and not series 1 (they were good but are quite old now). Also series 3 is released March 10 2003 in America (March is a very busy month for us Importers). The Nes games are good but not fantastic and remember most of them can be found on Animal Crossing, so only buy the E-reader Nes cards if you really Like the Nes game. Mr Game and Watch e-cards will arrive later this year, these will be very popular as the Manhole-e is a great game.

You can buy the Animal Crossing series cards from Goblindirect, Tqgames.co.uk and other importers.. but you have to be quick as these cards are sold out in nearly every American shop and British Importers are finding it very hard to get hold of them and when they do they have limited stock. Hope that Info helps. :)
