Timespitters 2 is one of the best, but has keys AND bananas in it.

Which is the best out of all of these? But not too complicated that i spend 4 months in a mental home after going ape that i can't find a key or the like?

Quake III is the closest you'll get. Interestingly, Doom has been released on all these other formats:
GBA
PC
PSX
XBox
3DO
Amiga
Jaguar
Macintosh
N64
Saturn
Sega 32X
SNES
But not the PS2...go figure.
But I would go for Timesplitter2 - best out.
Or MOH if you want a more one-player realistic game.
Or, if you want a game 'like doom' becasue of the blood etc, wait for Castle Wolfenstine

i played a PC demo of Elite Force ages ago but i wasn't keen on it, i seen it in Game once for the PS2 but nowhere else so it was proberly a flop in the sales charts.
