Hello and welcome to this grudge match between The Undertaker (Jetster) Vs Chris Benoit (Grandprix)
Whoever wins this match will go through to the Fatal 4 Way for the WWF Title currently held by Kane (Starlight). Chris Jericho (Scott) and either Mankind (Ice Blaster) or Scott Steiner (Cong Man) are going to be in The Fatal Four Way at Burnout.
CHRIS BENOIT! (Grandprix) Howard Finkel shouts that name and out comes Benoit looking rather feisty.
KEEP ROLLIN, ROLLIN, ROLLIN! Taker walks down to the ring not on his Motorbike and just laughs at Benoit for losing the WWF Title to Kane. Although Taker did cause the win for Kane but has now fell out with him and Choke-slammed his own brother and giving The Dudleyz a surprise win and The Tag Team Titles!
Benoit gets annoyed at Taker laughing at him and runs to the outside and hits a clothesline, but no Taker grabbed his arm and yanked it down. Benoit is up quick though and nails a Scissors sweep while Taker had his back turned to Benoit and taunting at the crowd. Whats this, Benoit has The Crossface! Taker has his hand up to tap and he……does! But it is on the outside and therefore dosen’t count. Benoit finally lets go of Taker’s neck and throws him into the ring and we hear DING, DING!
The match has now officially started and Benoit lays some stomps into Taker’s back. Taker manages to crawl to the corner. Benoit kicks Taker in the chest some times and Benoit sees his chance. He runs to the other turnbuckle and does a scissors sweep to Taker where the sun don’t shine! But no, Taker managed to crawl out of the way and Benoit has hit the post where the sun dosen’t shine! Taker goes to the outside and whacks Benoit’s knee against the post. Taker now gets ready and pulls Benoit’s legs into the post and Benoit feels the pain around you know what.
Benoit crawls out of the corner and Taker gets in the ring and picks him up, Taker throws Benoit into the ropes and hits a running DDT! Cover 1, 2….no way was Benoit gonna give up, not this early in the match, but the damage is done to both superstars as Taker clutches his neck, reeling from the effects of Benoit’s Crossface.
Taker picks up Benoit by the head and hits a knee to the gut, Benoit stays on his feet though and hits some chops to Taker’s chest, Taker soon stops that though as he hits Benoit down with a big right hand on Benoit’s back.
Taker picks up Benoit and throws him into the ropes, Benoit ducks a punch attempt by Taker, Benoit bounces back but Taker lifts up Benoit in a body press position and chucks Benoit literally all the way to the outside and threw the announcers table! Jim Ross shouts “What’s a matter with Taker, he wants respect this isn’t the way to get it, it’s a bloody mess down here” and it is as Benoit cut his head on something sharp on the announcers table.
Taker takes his time getting to the outside and a cheeky smile creeps across Taker’s face. Taker picks Benoit up and throws him into the steel steps! Benoit must be knackered and it seems so as he is lying motionless next to the steel steps. Taker picks Benoit up and throws him into the ring. Taker follows and says to Benoit “don’t think you will be doing the Crossface now” Taker puts out his arm, to see if Benoit can put him into the Crossface, it seems Taker was right and Benoit still lays motionless. But Suddenly with a burst of adrenaline Benoit grabs Takers foot and sweeps him, Benoit then thriws Taker into the ropes and Taker hits a Clothesline! But no Benoit grabbed his arm and takes him down in a Armbar into “The Crossface, The Crossface”! The King and Jim Ross shout! Taker his his hand up ready to tap, Taker is slowly getting to the ropes, but how long can he hold on?
Nearly there….. no Benoit pulls him back to the middle of the ring and Taker makes his approach to the ropes again……Finally Taker grabs the bottom rope after loads of punishment on that neck from The Crossface. Benoit can’t believe it!
Benoit picks Taker up and goes round to the back of Taker, he locks on his hands round Takers waist, GERMAN SUPLEX! And another! Looks like Benoit is trying for a third German Suplex……No, Taker kicks Benoit where the sun don’t shine whilst the Referee was distracted by Taker and told him to look somewhere else other than the action in the ring, Taker now grabs Benoit by the throat and hits A Chokeslam! Chokeslam to Benoit! Cover this must be it, 1….2….. is this it? No it isn’t as Benoit raises his arm just in time. Taker is furoius and goes to the outside to get A Steel Chair, Earl Hebner trys to restarin Taker from hitting Benoit with the chair but he can’t and Benoit pushes the Referee into Taker and Taker hits the chair to Earl Hebner by mistake!
Benoit is looking at the Referee in disbelief and Taker kicks Benoit in the chest, LAST RIDE! Cover by Taker but no one is there to count! What’s this Kane (Starlight) is coming down to the ring and slugs it out with Taker, Kane gets the upperhand though and throws him into the ropes, Taker bounces back but Kane kicks Taker in the gut, puts the Steel Chair behind Taker and hits Taker’s finisher The Last Ride onto he chair! Kane gets the microphone and says to Taker “this is just a warm up before out match you a*s kisser” Kane gets out the ring and throws Earl Hebner into the ring and Benoit crawls over Taker, Cover by Benoit and the awoken Earl Hebner counts 1, 2, 3! Yes Benoit has won and goes through into the Fatal Four Way at Burnout!
So Kane got his revenge on Taker just before their match a Hardcore Cage Match!
