I hear part of the reason the fighters won't agree to the settlement is that the government won't agree to supply them with PS2's in the new modernisation reforms.

It appears the sticking point is that the government will only supply Dreamcasts as they managed to get the last console batch cheaply as a bulk order.
This was not exceptable and the firefighters are still insisting on PS2's however some are also interested in the GC as they have knowledge when it comes to plumbers.

Yep, it's true. They were offered Fab lollies as part of the government's first offer, and though many of the union said that they should accept, they are holding out for the PS2's.
