Just found the part of the menu on the PS2 that lets you choose Smooth or Normal graphics and Normal or Fast disc speed.

All I can say...

WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS TELL ME BEFORE! ahem.

Smooth: This is how its meant to be.. but it just won't quite..... work!

Normal: What we want it to look like, however your console will probably crash and it will have problems.

yeah i tried the option, the smooth graphics thing did sod all. but the loading speed was great when i changed it, just don't turn the smooth graphics and faster drive speed on with metal gear when using the AR2 V2 it `b*****'s the graphics up LOL

Loading times were greatly reduced on Driver/Driver 2.

Its supposed to only make shooting games and adventure games look better. The rest don't look much different.

It doesnt really do anything the graphics only look a tiny bit smoother and the disc speed thingy is supposed to decrease the loading times...didnt seem any different to me.

I haven't even got a PS2 a tiny bit slower then most.

Yeah, I noticed this a few weeks back but didn't change anything, just in case.

So no pb, it's not just you. {:)
